Fantasy Warfare - Week 1, Month 1

We are here with the first week of booking for the PWL. If you didn't catch the rules and rosters and such, pause your reading and go back to that first so I don't have to explain why (insert your favorite wrestler that isn't included here) hasn't shown up in Week 1. Without any more delay let's dive in!

Tuesday Night Fights - (Our 1 hour program that will still offer good matches and matches that will still matter in the grand scheme of things. More than likely will be limited to 2-4 matches a week depending on storyline and need. Think of TNA Impact on Spike circa 2006)

Match 1 - Wes Lee def. Lexis King via DQ

We get started off with 2 guys able to rip the roof down. We will use this as a lower card feud, and keep things going over the weeks by having Lexis getting frustrated that he can't win and just gets disqualified to start things off.

Match 2 - Tiffany Stratton & Chelsea Green def. Nikkita Lyons & Anna Jay

Need the women in match and just starting off, they won't be in the main feuds but get them on TV and let them shine.

Match 3 - Jon Moxley def. Shawn Spears

This night goes before the big show of the week on Thursday and when you are starting off with the Number 1 first show, you can't do a whole lot until the big show really gets things started. So this match is just that, a match. Guys not being used for something starting on Thursday get the shine and get a match in on the Main Event of our first show.

END - Tuesday Night Fights

Thursday Night Showdown - (Our flagship show that most everything will happen on. I'll let you think about either 2 or 3 hours long, because some may run longer than others, but more than likely will get in 5-7ish matches a week, unless we are storyline/promo heavy, but don't worry, in the land of imagination we are booking, no one will get a 45 min segment to open the show and only get about 17 mins of wrestling each week wink wink)

In Ring Promo - GM William Regal and Asst GM Finlay come out to announce the World Title and Women's Title Tourneys, with other titles being crowned down the line. 15 men are in the tournament with the 16th being crowned in our Main Event of a Battle Royal. Bobby Roode comes out and begrudges everyone that he is not cleared to wrestle anymore, but his Greatness will live on as he will be assembling a Crew. The Greatest Grapple Crew is born. Roode introduces the focal point of the Crew...Will Ospreay! Regal and Finlay leave and Ospreay cuts a promo about how he will run this show very soon. Ospreay is interrupted when the first Title Tournament match is about to begin. Seth Rollins comes out. He has a stare-down with Ospreay, as The GGC leave.

Here is your Men's Bracket for those who need a visual to go along with things, I tried to do it without the numbers put I really didn't put the effort into it to pay to have that, so don't take those numbers to heart.

Match 1 - Seth Rollins def. Karrion Kross (World Title 1st Rd Match)

Seth Rollins will be a focus for our year as you could probably tell so we start things off with him getting a hard fought win over another under-utilized superstar. Seth Rollins wins and moves on to the next round to face the winner of Cardona/Owens.

Backstage Promo - W. Morrissey cuts a promo about how he is "THEE Big Man" of PWL and it doesn't matter who wins the Battle Royal because every single one of them can't match up to the Big W. (Yes his name is changed, Big Bill is the stupidest name for a wrestler since the Ding Dongs in WCW)

Match 2 - Sami Zayn def. Okada (World Title 1st Rd Match)

This one is an upset yes I know, but you cannot have every favorite win and become predictable. I don't want anyone to know what will happen next, just like any competent booker. Zayn will get this win with a surprise roll-up to steal a chance away from The Rainmaker. Zayn will face a very confident Morrissey or the winner of our Battle Royal main event.

Backstage Promo - We see FTR heading to the ring, but before they come to the curtain, they allow their manager to make his debut. Jim Cornette will accompany FTR as their manager, and they will be up next.

Match 3 - FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) def. Local Talent

FTR get a gimmie to reassert their Tag Team dominance. An easy win, and total destruction. Jim Cornette holds his boy's arms up high.

Backstage - Wardlow is seen complaining to William regal about not being in the tournament. Regal says he can still enter the battle royal if he wants. Wardlow stomps off. So Wardlow is one I will be doing a slow build with, with an eventual pay off (unlike where he is now...), but I didn't have him winning any in the tournament so I thought best to keep him out of it all together.

Match 4 - Kenny Omega def. Matt Riddle (World Title 1st Rd Match)

Not much to say about this one, just a good matchup between the masters of knee strikes. Kenny will not be a babyface for long, so getting a non-story match out of him is good to start.

Backstage - Will Ospreay and Roode are seen in the back with Charlotte Flair. They are trying to recruit her to the team, but she laughs and tells them off. William Regal comes in and is shaking his head at The GGC. Then he addresses Flair and tells her she will be in the Title tournament for the Women's Title.

Match 5 - Kevin Owens def. Matt Cardona (World Title 1st Rd Match)

Yet again, not much to say here. Moving things along for the story we are trying to tell. Sometimes a match will be a match and I won't have commentary on it.

Promo - Kurt Angle wants to sponsor a rising superstar on the roster, so he will be scouting for the man or woman who exhibit his 3 I's.

Backstage - Ospreay and Roode are now trying to recruit Bayley. She gives them a flat out "no". Roode says something stupid and gets a slap for his troubles.

Match 6 (Main Event) - Ricochet def. Shinsuke Nakamura, Jon Moxley, Shawn Spears, Steve Maclin, Moose, Roderick Strong, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Wheeler Yuta, Rey Fenix, Willie Mack, and Nic Nemeth, in a 15-man battle Royal for the 16th place in the World Title Tournament.

W. Morrissey is on commentary for the match. A good ol' fashioned Battle Royal to cap us off on our first real show for the year. Mostly guys who didn't make the cut, and leaving others out that will be used eventually elsewhere. After the match, Morrissey comes in and destroys Ricochet to end the show. "Thee Big Man" standing tall to start the year. Will it be his year? I guess you will have to stick around for the year and see how it all pans out. Don't forget to tell your friends about us, and leave your comments. Love ya guys and see ya next time for Week 2!
